Patrick Cline Obituary

Patrick “Scott” Cline Jr, 28 years old, of Yakima, Washington, passed away 23 September 2020, from injuries resulting from a motor vehicle accident outside of Afton, WY.

Scott is survived by his true mother, Nellie Jo Ann Knapp, his two children Emmett Scott Cline and Kenzie JoAnn Cline, and his Brothers Michael C., Andrew C., Kaleb W., Kaden W., Justin H. and Sisters  Krystal F., and Annabelle C., as well as stepmother Jessica Cline. He is preceded in death by his father Patrick Scott Cline Sr.

Born in 1992, to Valerie and Patrick Cline Sr., he was raised by the woman he saw as his mother, Nellie “Jo Ann” Knapp or “Gam-Gam.” He was raised by Nellie, who took him and his older brother, Michael, in when they were young children and raised them as her own. Those who knew Scott knew him as a friend who could always put a smile on your face and make you laugh. He was a talented young man who enjoyed working on cars, watching sports, and relaxing with many friends. While in school, Scott found he had many talents, including his great artistic capabilities and talent on the football field. He graduated from East Valley High School, Yakima, WA in 2010. He was taken too young, and his passing will be mourned by many.  But his memory will forever be preserved in all those he made smile with a joke, a sketch, or just by knowing him. The family asks that you especially pray for his two young children Emmett and Kenzie, and his mother, Jo Ann, as they deal with his sudden and unexpected passing.

A funeral service will not be held due to the current pandemic situation and that his close family resides all across the country. Condolences can be sent to his mother, Nellie Knapp, or his eldest brother Michael Cline at cline542@yahoo.com
