Terry "JR" McGurk, age 32, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013 at his home in Grover. Funeral services were held on Monday, Feb. 4 in the Grover LDS Church. Burial took place in the Grover Cemetery. He was born on July 29, 1980 in Afton to Terry R.R. McGurk and Connie Rae McGurk. JR?attended school in Star Valley and earned his GED. He was employed with Wyoming Woolens, Aviat, Colters Lodge, the Golden Spur, Leisure Valley and with the Afton Dance Club. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He married Chryse Redmen and was divorced shortly after. He then married Amy (Astle) McGurk on May 12, 2006. JR loved music and enjoyed being a DJ for the dance club. He had a kind heart and will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Amy, of Grover; his parents, Terry R.R. McGurk, Utah; and Connie Rae McGurk, Afton; sister, Cynthia Merritt, Fairview; and brother, Charles Brown, Mesa, Ariz. He is also survived by his step children, Jazmyn Ruud Hammond, Tooele, Utah; Samm Ruud, Tooele, Utah; Amanda Ruud, Tooele, Utah; Kalena Ruud, Tooele, Utah; and Faylyn Neely, Tooele, Utah. He also has one step grandchild.
