Samuel Coates passed away after a hard fight with cancer August 30, 2024 at home surrounded by his family. He was born September 7 1951 in Afton WY to Olga and Lloyd Coates. He grew up in Etna Wy and graduated from Star Valley High School. He enjoyed hunting, rock and gold hunting and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Linda Coates; three daughters Tammy (Todd) Tuschhoff, Tracy (Jeff) Robbins, and Patty (Blaire) Dugger; 9 grand kids; and several great grand kids. He was proceeded in death by his parents, 6 brothers and sisters, and nephew. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to cover costs.
