Ruth H Petersen passed away on February 25, 2021 in her sleep in Afton Wyoming. Ruth was born on September 5, 1932 in Thayne Wyoming to Joseph I. and Dora Leola Hart. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers, and Verl, her husband. Ruth is survived by her children Lyle, Gay, & Kim. Verl and Ruth have 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
Ruth spent many hours with her husband, children, and grandchildren enjoying fishing, camping, and traveling. She and Verl served two missions for the church. The first in the Philippines and the second in London England. She and Verl served as temple ordinances workers for many years. She loved serving in family history and helping others in their searching out their ancestors. She spent many hours in the DUP and historical museum and loved it all. There will be a visitation in Afton 4th Ward from 11:00 – 11:45 AM on Monday March 1st with the funeral following at 12:00 PMRuth H Petersen passed away on February 25, 2021 in her sleep in Afton Wyoming.
