Maxine C. Veigel died of natural causes on Wednesday June 18th, 2014.

She was born in Afton, Wyoming to Thomas John Call and Ethyl Grace Papworth on October 10th 1927. She was the youngest of 10 children.

Maxine married Doyle Veigel in Idaho Falls on August 15th 1946. They had three children, Tamara, Larry and Randy.

Maxine loved being around people. She worked as a teller at the Star Valley State Bank for many years. After her retirement she and Doyle spent winters in Yuma, AZ and springs in Gold Beach, Oregon. After Doyle's passing Maxine spent winters in St. George and summers in Star Valley.

Maxine is survived by her children, Tamara, Larry (Holly) and Randy (Valerie); 10 grandchildren Brian, Sherri, Cade, Jake, Amy, Luke, Tiffany, Jared, Ashley and Cory; 23 great grandchildren Ashleigh, Alex, Sarah, Aaron, Avery, James, Jackson, Jude, Aidon, Andrew, Oakley, Paige, Morgan, Oliver, Briony, Milo, Ethan, Carter, Makayla, Cohan, Ryker, Bronson and Oakley. She was preceded in death by her husband Doyle, her parents and all of her siblings.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held in the Afton Tabernacle with a viewing from 10:30-11:45 a.m. and the service at 12:00 p.m.

Interment: Afton Cemetery.
