Marsha Barber Wolfley, 73, passed away on November 13, 2017 after a 50-year battle with rheumatoid arthritis. She died surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be held in the Freedom Ward chapel on Wednesday, November 22nd at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:00 to 10:30 am. Marsha was born in Afton on February 14, 1944 to Walter and Lorraine (Heap) Barber. She was the oldest of four children including Sally (Bruce), Joel, and Jan (Anderson). Marsha's youth was spent working on the family farm in Jacknife and she cherished her memories of those years for the remainder of her life. She often spoke of her father who passed away in a farming accident when she was 17 and how difficult the loss was for their young family. Marsha began dating Rex Wolfley when she was 15, and after four years of deciding whether or not they liked each other, the two were married in the Idaho Falls temple on August 29, 1963. The couple then made their home in Freedom where over the next 54 years they raised four children, endured countless ailments, and cherished their time with their grand kids. Marsha was known for her caring personality, a passion for learning, devotion to her membership in the LDS Church, and an absolute zero tolerance for quitting. Although small in stature, she was a force to be reckoned with. The family would like to thank the many wonderful friends and neighbors who made mom's life complete. She was a social butterfly and loved every opportunity she had to be with you. Marsha was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister (Sally), and brother (Joel). She is survived by her husband, sister (Jan), children (Ward, Robin, Travis, Rod), 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild
