Ron Jensen, a beloved grandpa, father, and husband, passed away peacefully at his home on June 17, 2026. He was 83 years old.
Born on October 4, 1942, to Maxine Dana and Lowell Jensen at the old Star Valley Hospital, Ron was welcomed into the world by two older sisters, Margene and Cheryl, a younger sister, Helen, and his only younger brother, Boyed. From a young age, he exhibited a strong work ethic and a deep love for his family, traits that would define his life.

On January 16, 1964, Ron married the love of his life, Carla Rainey, in Palm Springs, California. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with four children: Todd Jensen, Debbie Jensen, Patty Wolfley, and Paul Jensen. Ron's devotion to his family was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Ron proudly served 28 years in the Army National Guard and dedicated 22 years to the Afton Volunteer Fire Department, embodying a spirit of service and commitment to his community.

His impact reaches far beyond his immediate family; he leaves behind 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Ron's love and dedication were felt not just by his children, but by each subsequent generation. He cherished his role as a grandpa, and his grandchildren held a special place in his heart.

Ron was preceded in death by the love of his life, Carla; his parents; and all of his siblings.

A funeral service for Ron Jensen will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2026, in a private gathering for family. This will be a time for loved ones to come together and pay their respects to a remarkable man whose presence will be deeply missed. Ron's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
