Linda Darlene Lawrence, 78, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, in Afton, Wyoming.

Linda was born on March 17, 1948, in Hardin, Montana, to William Hert and Pauline Studt. She was the oldest of five children and spent her childhood in Hardin, where she met the love of her life, Scott Lawrence.

Linda and Scott were high school sweethearts and were married on October 20, 1966, and together built a beautiful life centered around faith, family, and love. They were blessed with two children and shared nearly sixty years of marriage.

Linda's greatest joy was her family. She loved being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed the beach, gardening, traveling, and crafting. Her warm heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, William Hert and Pauline Studt; her beloved son, Willie Lawrence; her sister, Liz Hert; her brother, Frankie Hert; and her granddaughter, Jordan Lawrence.

She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Lawrence; her daughter, Sandra Moore and son in law Mike Moore; her brothers, Bill Hert and Larry Hert; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
