Mary LaDeen Astle

Mary LaDeen Astle died June 17, 2024, in Layton, Utah at the age of 98. She was born
December 29, 1925, in Afton Wyoming to William Owen Miles and Martha Opal Nield.
A viewing will be held July 12, 2024, at the Afton 3 rd Ward building from 9:00-10:45 a.m.
and the funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m.
LaDeen was married to Ken Astle on July 1, 1947, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They had
three children.
After high school she attended beauty school in Ogden, Utah. After graduating she
returned to Afton where she was a beautician for 64 years.
LaDeen is survived by two children, two daughter- in-laws, and their families. Kenna
Perry, (Helen) Astle, Ryck (Kristal) Astle, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and
5 great/great grandchildren.
LaDeen was preceded in death by her husband Ken, her son Val, son-in-law (Duane)
Perry, her parents, two sisters Audron Brower, Venice Linford, and three brothers O'Neil,
Burwin, and Delmer Miles.
