Kipp
Johnson
November 18, 1968 – January 6, 2025
Farrell Kipp Johnson (56) husband, dad, grandpa, brother and uncle went home on January 6,
2025. He was surrounded by his loved ones.
Kipp was born on November 18, 1968 to Farrell & Naomi Johnson of Auburn, Wyoming. He
joined his older siblings Bobby, Lori, Gina and then later came Tory.
Kipps' childhood was filled with ranching and hunting camp that his Grandma Hemmert owned
and ran. He also enjoyed helping his dad with his cutter team.
In 1991 Kipp got married to the love of his life Melissa Jensen. They had 3 beautiful girls
Natallie, Kenadee and Kimberly. Kipps biggest dream was to become a dad and he was so excited
to fulfil that. He was very proud to be a dad to his 3 girls and raised them in his outdoor lifestyle.
Later on Natallie and Kenadee gave him the boys he never knew he needed. Stetson and Trace. He
truly loved them as his own.
In 1998 Kipp joined the Afton Volunteer Fire Department and that became his new passion. He
was on the drill team and competed all across the state. He held many records and loved meeting
so many friends. He thought of the firemen as his brothers and cared so much about them and their
families.
Kipp owned his own floor covering installation company for 28 years. He truly was the best in
the valley and took a lot of pride in his work. Kipp worked alongside his brother Tory who had
become his best friend.
Kipp loved the outdoors and the mountains. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Greys River
was his second home and you could always find him up camping in the summertime.
