Keith John McCammon passed away Jan. 17, 2013 at Spring Creek Assisted Living in Soda Springs, Idaho. Keith was born in Osmond, Wyoming on May 29, 1933 to John and Evelyn McCammon. Keith was the first born of seven children (three brothers and three sisters) Max (Polly) McCammon, Gerrold (Mary Ann) McCammon, Kim (June) McCammon, Beverley (Earl) Hemmert, and Carole (Ron) Hegstrom. Yulene McCammon preceded Keith in death along with his parents John and Evelyn McCammon. Keith married Judy Rose Hemmert on Oct. 11, 1958 in Soda Springs, Idaho, they were married ten years. They had four children, Bryan McCammon, Brenda (Tony) Crnkovich, Clint (Patty) McCammon and Laura Haag. Keith has nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Keith was drafted into the Army in 1954 and served three years of active duty. He retired from the City of Grace and received a certificate from Governor Phil Batt to recognize him for his outstanding achievement as a public employee for 30 years. Keith was employed by the City of Soda Springs for 10 years and worked for the City of Grace for 20 years. During his retirement years Keith really enjoyed fishing and hunting, but especially enjoyed fishing with his brother Max and Cousin Kadell. Keith also enjoyed spending time with his family and attending the annual family reunions. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 1 p.m. at the Schwab Funeral Home in Thayne. Graveside Service will be held immediately following at the Afton Cemetary.
