Janeve D Swenson passed away March 14, 2017 at age 71 in South Jordan, Utah. Janeve was born October 16, 1945 in Afton, Wyoming. She was raised in Tygee Valley, Idaho and was the 3rd of 12 children. She attended Schools in Auburn, Grover, and Afton. She graduated from Star Valley High School. She started dating Keith Swenson when she was a senior in high school. They were married and sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple, June 23, in 1965 and have lived in Osmond ever since.

Janeve has been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has held positions in the church as Primary Music Leader, Relief Society President, young Women's Presidency, and a Cub Scout leader. She worked at the Star Valley State Bank for a few years. She then worked for Sunrise Engineering for 20 years, which was her favorite job ever.

Janeve is survived by Keith Swenson (husband) of Osmond, WY, Kamie Warren (daughter) of Ogden, UT, Kody (son) and LeAnn Swenson of South Jordan, UT. Preceded in death by Dennis Draney (brother), and Jody Warren (son-in-law). Survived by siblings, Mrs. Leon (Laurel) Merritt of Afton, WY, Troy Draney of Afton, Sam Draney of Auburn, WY, Gregg Draney of Auburn, Mrs. Kirk (Bonita) Smith of Auburn, Mrs. Kyle (Wendy) Erickson of Auburn, Mrs. Cody (Ronda) Luthi of Freedom, WY, Keland Draney of Rexburg, ID, Lanny Draney of Grover, WY, Eric Draney of Etna, WY, 8 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services are Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Osmond Ward LDS Chapel. A viewing will be held Friday, March 17th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Schwab Mortuary in Afton, WY. A viewing will also be held Saturday from 9:30 – 10:45 AM in the Relief Society Room at the Osmond Ward Church.
