Janet Ann Bitker, age 56, passed away peacefully at her home in Afton, WY on November 15.
She was born on September 14, 1958 in Wichita, KS to James Daniel and Mary Irene Cox.
She married Albert Joseph Bitker on July 15, 1984 in Lake Tahoe, CA. They spent the majority of their life in Evanston, WY raising their three children and beloved cat, Mindy.
Janet was known for her vibrant smile, warm hugs and her love of making friends with anyone and everyone. She had a natural ability to love with an open heart and non-judgemental attitude. She loved the color green, animals especially cats, music, movies, watching meteor showers and shooting stars but most of all spending time with her family. Janet lived a simple life but was able to go to Disneyland with all her grandchildren within the last several years. She also was able to go on a rafting trip with some of her family this last August which she thoroughly enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband, her cat, her daughters; Jessie (Rusty) Conway, North Ogden, UT; Aimee (Landen) Thomas, Phoenix, AZ; her son; Albert Dalton "A.D." (Taylor) Bitker, Afton, WY; her grandkids; Kyann and Kage Conway, Ashtyn and Oaklen Thomas. Also survived by her seven siblings; Mary (Phil) Loyd, Garden City, KS; Dan (Patricia) Cox, Ark City, KS; Patricia (Norman) Sanders, Sedan, KS; Donna (Gary) Spears, Niotaze, KS; Roxie (Steve) Cummings, Sedan, KS; Tim (Rhonda) Cox, Sedan, KS; and Chris (Ben) Christenson, Sedan, KS; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She will be greatly missed. We love you mom and we'll be watching you shine down upon us. Please watch over all of us until we meet again.

At her request private family services to be held at a later date. In her honor her family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter or support your local girl scouts.
