Gussie W. Jaques peacefully passed away on Wednesday December 16, 2015 in Afton Wyoming. Gussie was born April 5, 1926 in Monroe, Louisiana to Lonnie B. and Moria Sims Wallace. She had 2 older brothers, LC and Con and two younger sisters Birdie Jo and Annette. Gussie served with the Navy Utah Department during WW2 in Washington DC and Oakland California. She was transferred to Clearfield Utah where she met and married Dale Jaques in 1953, at the time of Dale's death in 2013 they had been married 60 years. they raised 4 children together, Ronald (Rhetta), Marlow (Nancy), Kristee (Ed) Coleman and Cindy.

Gussie retired from civil service at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Dale and Gussie built their home on Star Valley Ranch in 1978 and moved to there in 1988. They also spent time at their home in Phoenix. Gussie enjoyed her family and many grandchildren and great grandchildren she was a great fan of NASCAR and enjoyed making porcelain dolls. Gussie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Gussie is survived by all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gussie was preceded in death by her husband Dale, both brothers, and her parents.
