Garrett
Allred
April 13, 2003 – July 31, 2025
Garrett always made time for others. In the simplest of things, he was willing to help out. If it
was important to someone, it was important to him. He brought love and happiness to others
through his many very quiet acts of service. He did not like to be recognized; he preferred to go
about doing good, quietly.
He always had time to listen. He had an immense amount of patience and would never show
irritation or annoyance. He could always be counted on to do what he was asked to do and to do
it well. He was a hard worker. If he didn't understand he would put in the effort and hard work to
learn it.
He was very kind and loving, and never had mean things to say about anyone. Garrett had such a
tender and loving heart and a place in his heart for everyone he met.
He was welcomed into Kory and Lisa Allred's family on April 13, 2003 in Lewiston Idaho.
Garrett passed away on July 31, 2025 in Boulder Colorado. He loved his family, and his family
loved him! He was the second of nine children, with an older sister, Mikayla, who is married to
Simon and has two children, Clark and Winona. His younger siblings are Kamron, Linnea,
Trevor, Rebekah, Eliza, Korissa, and Thomas.
Garrett grew up in Hell's Canyon. He loved hiking, hunting, fishing, riding his motorbike,
working out and lifting weights. He joined the Army after graduation and was stationed at Fort
Drum in New York. He was deployed to Iraq during his 4 years of service. While in the army, he
also dedicated himself to continuing his education through online courses during his off time. He
loved taking his boat out on the St. Lawrence River and exploring its many islands. He loved
scuba diving, skiing in the winter and riding his motorcycle. He was enrolled at the University of
Colorado.
Garrett is deeply loved, and will be greatly missed!
