Rick as he liked to be called was born in West Virginia and raised in Pennsylvania by his Father Donn and Mother Josephine. Rick has three loving sisters Deb, Cindy, and Wendy.

Proceeded in death by both of his parents and his Nephew Jake Roach. Rick is survived by his wife Arleen, daughters Sara and Heather, and his son Donn.

Rick had an exciting career as a LAPD officer then later LAPD Detective, he retired in 1995 and moved to Wyoming to enjoy his love of the outdoors. Later, he began his second career as a Teton County Sheriff investigator, then lastly an investigator for the state of Wyoming.

Rick's career in law enforcement was his legacy and the stories he shared were fascinating. Rick was proud of his career, and was so fortunate to have worked with so many talented and professional people, who later became life long friends and confidantes.

Rick loved the outdoors, he loved to hunt and fish. You can find most of Rick's trophy's on his walls. Ever the storyteller, the hunter, the fisherman, the ball player, these are just a few pieces of his amazing life. He will be greatly missed.
