Ellen Heap Heiner passed away from natural causes on Dec. 3, 2016 at her daughter's home in Plymouth, Utah.

Ellen was born on April 14, 1932 in Freedom, Idaho to Edgar Heap and Annie Katherine Wright.

She was married to Charles Godfrey Heiner on May 21, 1948 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They raised their family in Bedford.

Ellen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles, whom she missed very much. She was also preceded in death by her sister, two brothers and three grandchildren.

Ellen lived in Afton for 15 years following her husband's death.

She is survived by four children: Lee and Ross Peterson of Plymouth, Utah; Kurt and Mary Heiner of Elkridge, Utah; Kip and LeVae Heiner of Tremonton, Utah; and Shelly and Robert Lake of Idaho Falls. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Ellen was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many callings.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
