Donna Lee Fair McNinch passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 7, 2017. Donna was born July 1, 1930 to Donald Lewis Fair and Grace Lurline Jamison in the small town of Ukiah in Mendocino County, California. In the spring of 1949 on a Sunday afternoon Donna went on a blind date, meeting Syl McNinch, Jr. whom she married two years later, July 20, 1951.

Donna had the words "Throughout Eternity" inscribed on the inside of Syl's wedding band. This was long before they became converts to the LDS church. Donna and Syl were sealed for all time and eternity in the Logan, Utah LDS temple on August 2, 1967. They have been married for more than 66 years.

Donna dedicated her life to being a good wife and mother to five children and teaching her children to be truthful and to have courage, faith and to love the Lord.

She held many church callings, including Relief Society President twice, and she was a long-time worker in the Washington, DC LDS temple. She loved books, music, singing, and laughter. Most of all, she loved her family and the Lord. To her children she was the epitome of Christ-like love. She sacrificed for them and her husband at every turn, especially in times of crisis.

Donna also loved animals, especially dogs, and was most closely bonded with her latest, Nell, a little corgi mix, who proved to be a great blessing in Donna's life. She and Nell were inseparable.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Kasie Ann Sorensen. She is survived by her husband, Syl McNinch, Jr. of Thayne, WY, and her children Marilyn Lee Skinner (Leland) of Richfield, UT, Syl Shawn McNinch (Michele) of West Jordan, UT, Robert Jamison McNinch (Anne) of Henderson, NV, and Laura Lynn Keane (Tony) of Katy, TX. Additionally, 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

A graveside ceremony will be held at the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, WY on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM. All are welcome.
