Dan L Ashment, our loving husband, patient father, mischievous grandfather and playful great grandfather passed Friday, April 30th 2021 after a sudden and short illness. His last day was a wild adventure;  touching moments and laughter all strung together on a thread of minor miracles and divine intervention.

Some rules were bent and four generations of his family got the chance to say what they wanted to say and be loved back. The only regret any of us have, is that he's gone.

He was called to the next life and wrapped this job up completely before he left. A pattern familiar with anyone who ever worked with him. His departure is sudden and heartbreaking, but he did it in a way that left us all feeling more happy for him than sad for ourselves.
