Brent LaRell Hebdon 76, of Afton, Wyoming passed away Friday, September 9, 2016, at home surrounded by his family .

Brent was born February 28, 1940 in Afton, Wyoming. He was the son of LaRell (Bud) Hebdon and Sybil Coy. Brent was the oldest of 4 children. He graduated from Star Valley High School in 1958. He served in the Wyoming National Guard and was honorably discharged as a Specialist 5 in 1963.

Brent Married Zalia Schenck of Roy, Utah in May 1960; they had 5 children and later divorced. He married Mom, Barbara Hensley of American Falls, Idaho on June 15, 1985. They had 31 happy years together.

Brent worked with his father as a heavy equipment operator; his career also was with Savon Drug and Osco & Buttrey Stores. He and Barbara owned and operated several cafes over many years.

Brent enjoyed fishing and fixing old cars and trucks with his family.

Brent came from a long line of drummers; he was well known as a drummer and performed with several bands in and around Star Valley, Wyoming.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Zalia. He is survived by his siblings Dennis (Nancy) Hebdon, LaRue Persons and Judy (Mike) Bolan; his children Zane Hebdon Pocatello, Idaho, Brenda Nichols Pocatello, Idaho, Tony (Vicki) Hebdon Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jodi (Will) Kay Hooper, Utah and Kimberly (Neil) McGraw American Falls, Idaho. His extended family includes 7 children, Mike (Charlette) Pease American Falls, Idaho, Trina (George) Flores of Pocatello, Idaho, Robert (Charlene) Hensley, Pocatello, Idaho, Kathleen Adams American Falls, Idaho, Cindy (Roland) Layton American Falls, Idaho, Tracey Hensley American Falls, Idaho. Brent has 40 Grandchildren and 55 Great grandchildren.

The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice nurses Sally and Lorin of Afton and Annie of Pocatello.

Funeral service will be held in Thayne, Wyoming at the Schwab Funeral Chapel, Wednesday, September 14th, at 1:00 PM. Prior to the funeral service a viewing will be held for friends and family from 11:00 to 12:45.
