Richard Blake Robinson was May May 24, 1945, to Therra and Alvin Robinson. Blake had eight siblings; three brothers, Theo, Keith, and Alvin; Five sisters, Vera, Valoy, Ione, Verna, and Elta. Blake graduated from Star Valley High School and Ricks College. He also attended BYU. Blake married Brenda Dana in 1967 had two children were born to this union, Bradie Lee and Brandon Blake. Blake worked various jobs throughout his life but was the Director of Public Works for the Town of Afton for 27 years.

He was a member of the Wyoming National Guard and a member of the Afton Volunteer Fire department. Blake was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Blake has seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. Blake passed away at home on November 14, 2020. Blake will be remembered for his work ethic, his sense of humor, and his tremendous generous heart.
