Arma Evelyn Hirschi, age 86, passed away on January 11, 2025 in her home in Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming. Arma was born on November 11, 1938 in Rockville, Utah to James Arthur Terry and Emmaline Sylvina Millett. Arma was raised in Rockville, where she met the love of her life, Michael Claire Hirschi. After the couple relocated to Las Vegas, NV, they married on August 28, 1956 and had 3 children; Michele, Becky, and Alan.

Arma is best remembered for her wonderful smile and lively personality which made the whole world a better place for those lucky enough to have known her. Arma attracted people to her like a magnet because she was not only pretty on the outside, but internally she was a beautiful and strong women who made those who knew her feel special.

The above statements were impressivley true given the hard life Arma was dealt. She sadly lived with the loss of all three of her children as well as her husband at an early age.  She no doubt has now had quite the reunion with her family.

Arma loved to dance! Her father  put her in tap lessons at just 5 years old and later she learned to waltz with her brothers. Her love of dancing continued on to many honky tonks and parties throughout her years. Arma was always the bell of the ball.

Arma was lucky enough to find love and companionship again in life, with her partner, Bill Daley. For the last 30 years they have made their home in Wyoming, where they met many many friends and made the best memories. Bill and Arma sure knew how to throw a party, and the whole of Star Valley can attest to that.

Arma also loved to travel, and Bill made sure she saw the world. She always said if she didn't live in the USA she would have made her home in New Zealand, she really loved it there.

Arma will be truly missed but we find comfort in knowing she is reunited with her family and is waiting for the rest of to see her again one day.

Surviving family include her partner, Bill Daley of Star Valley Ranch, Wyoming; her granddaughter, Samantha Duffey of La Verkin, Utah; her great-granddaughter, Dannika Horne of La Verkin; Utah; her brother Kelland Terry of Carson City, NV; and her sister Fawn Sterling of Hurricane, Utah; as well as many neices, nephews, and cousins whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Emmaline; her husband Michael, daughter Michele, son Alan, daughter Becky, grandson Shane, brothers Darwin, Dixon, Brighton, and sister Sybil.

At her request, no services will be held. The family hopes you will remember her well and often, for the light she truly was. Her final resting place will be in the Rockville, Utah cemetary for anyone wishing to pay their respects.
